To determine your current browser version, open the Help menu at the top of the browser screen and select About.

Supported browsers for Macintosh:

Firefox browsers can be downloaded from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

Microsoft browsers and updates are available from http://www.microsoft.com (follow the "Downloads" link).

It is important that your browser is configured to work properly with Blackboard. Many of the problems with login or course tools are due to faulty browser configuration. Your Web browser must be set up so that:

Blackboard has a Check Browser button on the login page. Use this to check your browser settings, it tells you how to fix them. When your browser is setup correctly you can begin your classes.

Another way to troubleshoot any potential browser issues before you login is to go to the Blackboard’s browser tune up at http://www2.blackboard.com/tuneup. There is a wealth of resources concerning browser issues on this page.
